    Overview:

    • This job role is accountable for the definition and implementation of Asset Management strategies and practices required for the sustainable delivery of the business plan through effective Asset Utilization and Process Safety practices.
    This role will drive continuous improvement processes and manage strategic sustaining capital expenditure to minimize costs and maintain a steady YoY Maintenance $/t.


    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain a diverse, caring and respectful workplace always.
    • Establish and continuously develop best practice Asset Optimization systems, and the skills and performance of the Engineering & Asset Optimization team within those systems.
    • Lead the asset optimization efforts within the refinery, ensuring the efficient and effective use of assets to maximize production output, minimize downtime, and reduce costs. Develop and govern implementation of strategies and plans to optimize asset reliability, availability, and performance.
    • Design, govern and continuously improve Integrated Work Management practices to drive a Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) culture in working as one team to deliver improved Asset Utilization.
    • Drive asset performance improvement initiatives to lower costs and deliver superior asset performance.
    • Establish and continuously improve Process Safety and Engineering Compliance systems for the refinery within the applicable governing laws and standards of the state and the business.
    • Manage the implementation of the Capital program within a multiyear planning cycle, which involves identifying and prioritizing capital expenditure projects that align with the refinery's sustainability goals.
    • Develop and manage budgets for asset optimization, central material planning, and sustainable Capex activities. Monitor costs, identify costsaving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize spending and achieve budget targets.
    • Drive the department to achieve operational excellence through 100% employee engagement.
    • Collaborate with procurement teams and suppliers (coordinated through procurement) to manage optimal inventory levels.
    • Collaborate and negotiate with vendors to ensure the quality of service and materials.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

    Functional Skills:

    • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of results managing Engineering, Process Safety and Asset Management Systems in large scale industrial environments.
    • Excellent leadership skills to lead, develop and inspire teams.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

    The successful incumbent should be:

    • Minimum 60% (no rounding off is allowed) throughout in X, XII and Graduation.
    • Should have cleared all subjects in X, XII and degree in first attempt
    • One yeargap between XII and Graduation.
