Role Overview: As an Advanced Heroku, Heroku Connect, Postgres Developer at Deltacubes, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications on the Heroku platform. Leveraging your expertise in Heroku, Heroku Connect, and Postgres, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet the unique requirements of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 4-10 years of experience.
• Design, develop, and deploy complex applications on the Heroku platform, utilizing Heroku Connect for seamless integration with Salesforce and other external systems.
• Architect and optimize databases on Postgres, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability in Heroku and Postgres environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of deployed applications.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our products and services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Heroku, Heroku Connect, and Postgres.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and building applications on the Heroku platform, including proficiency in managing dynos, add-ons, and pipelines.
• Strong expertise in database design, optimization, and administration using Postgres.
• Experience with Heroku Connect for bi-directional data synchronization between Heroku and Salesforce.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus.
