    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our financial asset management team. Person is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of financial asset management processes. This role bridges the gap between financial professionals and the technology that supports their activities.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Lead a team of engineers and technical professionals responsible for financial asset management, including asset design, development, maintenance, and optimization.
    2. Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources.
    3. Collaborate with stakeholders and understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements along with objectives and success criteria.
    4. Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications used for portfolio management, risk analysis, and performance reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
    5. Ensure the security, compliances and integrity of financial data and systems.
    6. Monitor asset performance and utilization metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
    7. Implement preventive maintenance programs and asset lifecycle management strategies to maximize asset reliability and longevity.
    8. Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting asset-related issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    9. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
    10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and development.
    11. Design and manage team's training program.
    12. Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in asset management and related fields, and apply relevant knowledge to drive strategic decision-making.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
    2. Minimum 15 years of experience in a technical role within the financial services industry.
    3. Strong understanding of asset management principles, practices, and methodologies, including asset lifecycle management, reliability-centered maintenance, and risk management.
    4. Proven experience in leading and managing a technical team.
    5. Strong understanding of financial asset management principles and processes.
    6. Experience with financial data modelling and analysis tools.
    7. Experience with financial regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, Basel III).
    8. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
    9. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
    10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    12. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring team members to achieve goals and deliver results.
    13. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management, safety, and environmental compliance.
    14. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in asset management practices.
