The Job Overview of an AndroidDeveloper

We at
EVEREX INFOTECHare seeking a dedicated Android developer to joinour growing company. You will collaborate as part of a team ofdevelopers to work on creating and maintaining Androidapps.

As an Android developer you will needto be familiar with the Android ecosystem and mobile appdevelopment including familiarity with popular app frameworks andsoftware development best practices.

Your duties will includemaintaining existing codebases including bug fixing and creatingapps from scratch as part of a team while following all codingguidelines and industry best practices.

Qualificationsexpected of an Android Developer:

BE / BTech/ MCA / MTech / ME. Solid understanding ofcommon programming tools and paradigms such as version control useof frameworks and common design patterns.
Proficiency with Android Studio and Android SDKtools. Excellent knowledge of the Javaprogramming language. Familiarity withmobile applications and development including the use of hardwaresuch as accelerometers cameras andgyroscopes. Comfortable working as part of acrossfunctional team and with code written by others including bugfixing and refactoring legacy code.
Excellent communication skills.

Technical Skill an AndroidDeveloper:

Experience in Mobile NativeAndroid Application development & AndroidStudio. Strong Knowledge of differentversions of Android and how to deal with different screensizes. Prior experience as an AndroidDeveloper using Kotlin Java Android SDK AndroidNDK. Experience in publishing an applicationon the Google Play store. Proven workexperience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworkssuch as MVVM/MVC/MVP. Experience with thirdparty libraries & APIs. Familiaritywith RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Androidapplications. Proficient understanding ofcode versioning tools such as Git GitHub orBitBucket. Strong understanding of App lifecycle. Familiarity with various testingtools. Knowledge of Work Manager BackgroundServices and SQLite Database. Experiencewith Unit performance & UI testing.
Familiarity with cloud APIs and pushnotifications. Problem solver with goodanalytical skills.

vDesigning and developing apps for the Androidecosystem.v Creating tests for code toensure robustness and performance.v Fixingknown bugs in existing Android applications and adding newfeatures.v Working with external softwarelibraries and APIs.v Working with designersto turn design templates into working apps.vJob Qualifications and Skill Sets.
