We are looking for a Retail Trainer to handle the training needs of our offline retail team using various methodologies, techniques and interactive activities.
Responsibilities
● Design and execute orientation programs for retail teams
● Conduct onboarding training sessions for new hires
● Assign mentors and coaches to new sales team members
● Observe the customer journey and identify training needs for each touch point
● Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client cases
● Train retail team on product, service soft skills & KPIs in-store & in class room settings
● Apply various sales training techniques (e.g. gamification, case studies and group activities)
● Maintain updated records of training curriculum and material
● Design training calendar in discussion with the retail ops team.
Desired candidate profile
● 2-4 yrs work experience as a Retail Trainer, Product Trainer, Sales Trainer or similar role
● Experience in retail industry preferably in sportswear
● Open to travel and visit the retail stores, as needed
● Ability to manage the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities and using e-learning platforms
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales targets
● BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field
● Additional certification in training will be a plus
