    This role is an opportunity to be at the forefront of one of the most exciting areas in FinTech technology – "Application and Infrastructure Monitoring".

    The work constitutes of –

    Providing technical and monitoring support across application, services & servers and infra landscape with responsibility for daily support tasks such as handling day-to-day incoming email, phone calls, incident tickets, and service requests. Conduct daily production health-checks and alert handling via monitoring tools like SCOM, Dynatrace, Elastic, Kibana, SolarWinds. Troubleshoot moderate technical issues by way of querying alert logs, server logs, from DB and/or resolving through application configuration. Provide accurate problem identification, conduct initial incident triage, issue investigations, root cause analysis, escalation to development and engineering teams, and prepare follow-through action plans for issue resolution as per SLAs. The position is based out of Gurugram, India and may require travel to other Saxo offices on need basis.

    Responsibilities:

    Application and infrastructure monitoring Daily health-checks, email handling, work requests and calls Incident management – driving incidents to resolution and closure Change management – running CAB meetings twice a day Problem management – driving incident prevention and ensuring mitigations are discussed, agreed and documented.

    Job profile:

    This role requires the person to be hands-on having technical experience with working in Monitoring (Application and Infra Alert handling) or a related support function in Financial Services, preferably Investment Banking, Trading and Administration domain leveraging trading-based applications in front / middle and back office.

    Work expectations in the role:

    • 5-12 years with strong technical and hands-on experience
    • Hands-on monitoring with a user level experience on tools – SCOM or Dynatrace.
    • Hands-on handling monitoring tasks (on-prim or cloud-based)
    • Exposure in event management, application & infra-alert / log monitoring & analysis
    • Hands-on technical experience with incident triage, troubleshooting, resolution, root-cause and monitoring of critical and high-frequency applications and services.
    • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow
    • Good experience on ITIL processes & framework
    • Fundamental knowledge of Financial Markets, Trading, and Instruments
    • Working in a 24x7 format in shifts, including weekends and holidays
