Overview:

The AdmissionCounselor plays a crucial role in the recruitment and admissionprocess serving as the first point of contact for prospectivestudents. They are responsible for providing information andguidance to potential students and ensuring a positive experiencethroughout the admissions process.

KeyResponsibilities:

Conductinginformational sessions for prospective students andfamilies
Assisting students in completing theapplication process
Evaluating applicationmaterials and making admissiondecisions
Providing guidance on financial aidand scholarships
Developing and maintainingrelationships with high schools and communityorganizations
Participating in recruitmentevents and college fairs
Collaborating withacademic departments to stay updated on programofferings
Managing admissionsrelatedcommunications and inquiries
Utilizing CRMsystems to track and follow up on prospective studentinteractions
Contributing to the development ofrecruitment strategies andmaterials

RequiredQualifications:

Bachelors degree in arelated field
Previous experience in admissionsrecruitment or a related field
Strongunderstanding of higher education policies andprocedures
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
Proficiencyin CRM software and MicrosoftOffice
Demonstrated ability to work effectivelywith diverse populations
Strong organizationaland time management skills
Commitment toupholding ethical standards in admissionspractices
Flexibility to work evenings andweekends asneeded
