Description

Responsibilities :

As a software engineer (Frontend) you will develop feature sets that involve Responsive UIs with Restful Services and ensure a seamless product experience:
Software development by providing engineering patterns to deliver the optimal product, including implementing design patterns.
Work closely with peers and senior engineers/architects.
Partner with UX, product owners, and business SMEs to analyze the business need and provide a supportable and sustainable engineered solution.
Ensure that the overall technical solution is aligned with the business needs.
Drive the creation and modifications of the product portfolio components, identify, and engage all technical resources necessary to contribute to the solution ensure the solution is consistent with Walmart's architecture, design, and development standards.
Build reusable React components with Typescript, and modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux, and test everything with Jest.
Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, Webpage test, or custom tooling.
Implement Graph and chartbased UI applications and work with complex/varied data structures.
Hack, extend, and improve opensource tools/frameworks.
Develop applications using industry best practices. Adjust and adopt new methodologies that provide the business with increased flexibility and agility.
Stay current with the latest development tools, technology ideas, patterns, and methodologies, and share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key Excellent proficiency in React and NodeJS technologies.
Experience in software development using modern languages (with NodeJS, Angular, React, etc) and CSS/HTML.
Excellent proficiency in frontend technologies (TypeScript/React Native/JavaScript/HTML/CSS and related frameworks).
4+ years of experience building highly scalable, highperformance, responsive web applications.
A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Minimum 3 years of experience in React development.
Extensive experience building web applications using MVC frameworks (ReactJS, NodeJS) for RESTlike applications.
Excellent debugging and problemsolving capability.
Proven ability to lead a group through an architectural development process and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Thorough understanding of Node. JS and its core principles.
Experience in Responsive UIs is a plus.
Own code quality and experience in writing extensive unit tests.
Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Awareness of cloud platforms
