    Job Title: Cybersecurity Project Manager

    Remote Work Opportunity

     

    **Job Summary:** Vriba is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of cybersecurity projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and project management, with the ability to coordinate and implement security measures to protect our organization's digital assets.

     

    **Key Responsibilities:**

     1.  Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans for cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

     2.  Risk Management: Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and propose mitigation strategies to minimize threats.

     3.  Team Collaboration: Coordinate with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure successful project execution, promoting a culture of security awareness.

     4.  Training and Awareness: Implement cybersecurity training programs and promote awareness of security protocols among employees.

     5.  Security Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and recommend improvements to enhance overall security posture.

     6.  Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws and regulations, maintaining a secure environment for sensitive information.

     7.  Communication: Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders about project status and issues, providing timely updates on security matters.

     8.  Incident Response: Prepare reports on security incidents and breaches, analyzing data to identify trends and improve security practices.

     

    **Qualifications:**

     Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Project Manager / Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role, with a strong background in cybersecurity and project management.

     Strong knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management, with experience in managing IT security projects and understanding of IT security concepts and best practices.

     Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

     Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus, along with experience with security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and SIEMs.

     

    **Preferred Skills:**

     Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheets, Asana, Jira, and experience working in fast-paced environments with short turnarounds.

     Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
