    Description

    We are hiring skilled and detail-oriented Taxation Specialist to join our team. The Taxation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing and filing tax returns, and utilizing Excel for financial and taxation purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures, as well as a basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros, is essential for this role. The Taxation Specialist should possess excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
    • Prepare and file tax returns accurately and within specified deadlines.
    • Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for financial and taxation purposes.
    • Utilize Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, and macros to analyze and manipulate data effectively.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures to provide accurate and informed advice.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as accounting and finance, to gather necessary information for tax calculations and reporting.
    • Conduct research to resolve tax-related issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
    • Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Assist in tax audits and examinations, providing supporting documentation as needed.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in tax legislation to adapt processes and procedures accordingly.
    • Communicate complex tax concepts and requirements to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in tax compliance and preparation.
    • Strong working knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.
    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
