Role Overview:

As a Data Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data processes and outputs. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to develop and implement data quality assurance strategies, automation scripts, and testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Spark, Scala, and a solid understanding of general automation and testing principles within the data domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive data quality assurance test plans and test cases.
• Design and implement automated testing scripts and frameworks for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality standards are met throughout the data lifecycle.
• Perform data validation, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Utilize Python, Spark, and Scala to develop data quality checks, data profiling, and data validation processes.
• Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Document test results, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality assurance processes and methodologies.
