    Role Overview:

    ZocoNut seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the intersection of finance and technology within the preventive healthcare sector. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for various accounting and financial management aspects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
    • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
    • Maintenance of MIS.
    • Produce accurate accounting reports and present their results to the finance team.
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring timely publication of financial statements.
    • Conduct audits and analyse financial transactions and documents, summarising financial status.
    • Responsible for overall coordination in the finalisation of GST compliance.
    • Maintain invoices and payment collections records.
    • Ensure timely bank payments and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
    • Identify errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and expenditures.
    • Provide technical support and advice on Management Accounting.
    • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
    • Participate in financial standards setting and the budget forecasting process.
    • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

    Ideal Profile

    Requirements:

    • Graduates in the field of Accounting and finance studies are essential.
    • CA Firm experience.
    • Online certifications related to accounting
    • 1 to 4 years of experience is required
    • Proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Advanced knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or FreshBooks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
