    Description

    As an Artistic Production Designer Intern, you'll play a crucial role in the visual storytelling process of various projects, for our kid's YouTube channel. This position is ideal for someone with a background in art or fashion looking to embark on a creative career in the entertainment industry.

    Responsibilities:

    1) Prop Management:

    • Source, create, and manage props required for productions, ensuring they align with the artistic vision and budget constraints.
    • Maintain an inventory of props, ensuring they are well-organized and easily accessible during production.

    2) Art Direction:

    • Collaborate with directors to understand and interpret the artistic vision of the project.
    • Develop and execute concepts for sets, and overall visual aesthetics, incorporating elements of art and fashion where appropriate.

    3) Set Design:

    • Assist in the design and construction of sets, paying close attention to detail and ensuring they reflect the desired atmosphere and style.

    5) Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with fellow crew members, to understand requirements.
    • Communicate effectively and contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions in production meetings.

    6) Problem Solving:

    • Address challenges during the production process, such as last-minute changes, budget constraints, or technical limitations, with creativity and resourcefulness.
    • Adapt quickly to evolving circumstances, making necessary adjustments to maintain the artistic integrity of the project.

    7) Attention to Detail:

    • Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of prop management, set design, and art direction, striving for excellence in every visual element presented on screen.
    • Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and aesthetics, consistently delivering work of the highest quality.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in art, fashion, theater, or a related field.
    • Strong artistic sensibility and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in prop sourcing and familiarity with design software is advantageous.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet production deadlines.
