Inviting the applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Cash Applications
In this role, you will be responsible to Work closely with and within Property & Casualty Insurance Finance operations management team.
Responsibilities
.Review collection reports to determine the status of collections and balances outstanding to ensure compliance with the Credit & Collection policy.
.Work with Collection team, understand all aspects of Cash allocation including deep validated experience and report out to business (Cash application)
.Collaborate closely between all functions of AR and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. (Cash Application)
.IC loan, G&A and capital contribution settlement with other platforms
.Counter party risk management for platform and group
.Managing queries, statement, invoices and premium remittance
.Daily bank transaction download to update cash log file and allocate them as per details
.Review journal entry and posting in system
.Payments authorization on bank website as first approver
.Age receivables including follow-up comments on outstanding premium
.Bank reconciliation for all bank accounts.
.Accountable to connect with account payable and account receivable teams for open items.
.Show open items in summary sheet with follow-up comments
.Build collections strategy for the team based on ageing and allocate accounts to the team for follow up. (Collections)
.Collection on past due invoices on allocated portfolios via email, phone calls etc. (Collections)
.Understanding manual/automated billing and performing AR reconciliation/Billing (Billing).
.Work closely with RTR to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for appropriately and accurately.
.Ensure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders - communicate regularly to discuss operational issues, key metrics, CTQ's (internally &/or externally)
.Understand the SOX Regulations and ensure adherence
.GST & Indian taxation experiences are preferable
.This includes the collection of invoices and the management of all related processes dispute identification and resolution, account reconciliation, credit balance disposition, and unclaimed property administration.
.Follow-up with various departments to get supporting documents/ info for dispute/deductions resolution
.Ability to handle, trouble shoot, and resolve recurring or occasional bottlenecks

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualification
.B. Com or M.COM or MBA Finance or any other equivalent graduation or post degree in accounting/finance related work experience.
.Knowledge of accounting concepts and Journal entries.
Preferred Qualification
.Excellent Cash operations knowledge in Credit Control, Treasury & bank Reconciliation and FP&A
.Good Communication Skills
.Prior experience in B2B Collections, Billing and Cash Applications.
.Experience in ERPs -SAP and Oracle. SAP experiences are preferable.
.Excellent knowledge of MS-Excel and MS-Word knowledge
.Ability to act on own initiative
.Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility
.Ability to handle high volumes of workloads and to reach targets and target on a timely basis
.Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to develop succession plan for staff
.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (in English)
.Exercises good judgement on day to day business problems and provides recommendations for solving course correction
