    Position Summary:

    Bechtel is currently seeking a passionate NOC analyst who have expertise in network and infrastructure operations. As a NOC Analyst of a global 365x24x7 Network Operations Center team, your primary duties are to monitor, report and help resolve network and server problems worldwide. Additional areas of responsibility will include administering user/share permissions, maintaining active directory settings, performing server maintenance and scheduling and implementing patch management. Candidate work closely with peer organizations within other areas of Bechtel's global IT group on the development and testing of infrastructure and data migrations to cloud.

    Position Responsibilities and duties:

    • Performs a range of work activities in a wide variety of contexts.
    • Performs specific tasks while utilizing established information technology standards and methods. Works with client to define timeframe requirements.
    • Responds to customers' needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely manner and expedites corrective actions.
    • May contact other personnel in IS&T, other Bechtel functions and/or projects, and selected users to gather or provide information on specialized information technology related activities.
    • May meet with technology vendors regularly to track trends and provide feedback that may benefit Bechtel.
    • Must have a strong curiosity and passion about learning new technologies.
    • Monitoring and troubleshooting servers and network devices
    • Lead IT projects/involvement in implementing new technologies
    • Remote management of servers
    • Troubleshooting global circuit issues
    • Ticketing and Change Management tools
    • User account administration
    • Server backup & restores
    • Share/Group management
    • OS reboots post Patching
    • Create and maintain technical documentation
    • Active directory management & troubleshooting.
    • Server and active directory administration on windows 2012/2016/2019.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 2+ year of experience administering Windows servers and Active Directory in a distributed environment
    • 1 year of experience with enterprise capable network routing & switching hardware.
    • 1 year of working knowledge of Microsoft SCOM, Orion or other network management systems
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Excellent customer skills, as well as having a friendly and positive attitude, is essential
    • Excellent communication skills is a mandate.
    • Must be flexible – willing to work weekends and night shift if required.
    • Must be able to work in a diverse team environment and perform routine as well as technical tasks
    • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are necessary
    • Experience working in a NOC environment
    • Preferred candidate to have successfully completed and certified on Microsoft Technology (MCITP)
    • Experience with trouble ticketing and change management tools.
    • Understanding of basic Windows registry and Windows event log analysis.
    • Experience working with ISPs on circuit issues.
    • Basic scripting experience preferred.
