Calm Creative Studio is looking for a talented Youtube Video Editor to join its founding team. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and knowledge of video editing styles with a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for making compelling videos.

This candidate will have experiences in working with different platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and others that are applicable depending on the industry. Please note the compensation for this role at the end of this listing.

You should be eager to build Calm Creative Studio from the ground level, having the initiative and work ethic of an early team member. We have many unique projects on hand and require an out of box thinker for executing these projects.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and enhance raw footage into compelling and visually appealing videos, ensuring high-quality production standards.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard ideas for video projects.
• Create engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all video and animation projects.
• Produce promotional reels, short films, and other creative content.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continually improve video production techniques.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
• Provide creative input and contribute innovative ideas depending on the project.
• Stay updated and research on Youtube video trends and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor and motion graphics animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Expertise in motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
• Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Have experience in making documentary style videos like the ones on James Jani, Johnny Harris or similar Youtube channels.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and manage workload efficiently.
• Bachelor's degree in film production, animation, multimedia design, or a related field (preferred).
