About the Opportunity:

The SWAYAM Plus project is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale EdTech initiative aimed at upskilling students within the Higher Education Sector. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming the educational landscape at Higher Educational level through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all aspects of the development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, consultants, developers, and educators.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between diverse stakeholders, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on achievements and potential issues to stakeholders.
• Prioritize development tasks based on project needs, resource availability, and stakeholder input.
• Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and communication records.
• Stay abreast of the latest EdTech trends and technologies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large-scale technology implementation projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and manage expectations of diverse stakeholders at all levels (government, consultants, developers, educators).
• Experience in prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., VSTS, Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to improving educational outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the EdTech sector is a plus.
• Familiarity with government procurement processes.
• Experience working in a matrix management structure.
