A. Major job responsibilities :
Basic understanding and product knowledge:
To get updated regularly with all changes made in products, range, options, certifications etc.
To know various applications for safety valves especially with Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, OEMs etc.
To know the codes and standards applicable for safety valves.
To understand technical specifications of various EPCs and special requirements w.r.t. testing, inspection, ITP, documentation etc.
To keep complete information about all reputed competitors (local & global) and get updated about various developments taking place within their products.
Provide technical support
To provide technical support to inside sales engineers for their critical queries during pre-order stage (quotation & subsequent evaluation).
Provide technical solutions for special requirements of customers.
To support sales team in case of any technical assistance to be provided to customers.
Provide required support during creation of new marketing releases (catalogue, webpage and any other technical releases through Marketing.
B. Knowledge required
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel.
SAP exposure would be an added advantage.
Awareness of Indian safety valve market and EPCs.
Knowledge of International Codes and standards applicable for valves (preferably safety valves).
C. Skills
Good Communication skills (both written & verbal) with internal and external customers.
Ability to work in a team for project related activities.
D. Job requirements:
Desirable/ preferred Qualifications: BE (Mech) or BE (Inst)
3-5 years' working experience in sales or inside sales (application) or in Engineering departments of Valve / pump industry
