    Job Title: Executive Chef & Operations Head - Office Building Cafeteria

    Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Head to oversee the efficient functioning of our cafeteria located within an office building. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As the Executive Chef & Operations Head, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cafeteria operations, including staffing, inventory management, vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The candidate should be willing to grow with the company. Salary will be in accordance with the current market standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise cafeteria staff, including cooks, servers, and cleaning personnel.
    • Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, productivity, and employee morale.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to staff members.

    Operations Management:

    • Develop and implement efficient operational procedures to streamline workflow and maximize productivity.
    • Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to quality standards, food safety regulations, and sanitation guidelines.
    • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
    • Coordinate with vendors to negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

    Customer Service:

    • Foster a customer-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and drive customer loyalty and retention.

    Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the cafeteria budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring costs, and optimizing revenue streams.
    • Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
    • Implement pricing strategies and promotions to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

    Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the cafeteria facilities to identify and address any potential hazards or violations.
    • Collaborate with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses and maintain accurate records of compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience in food service management, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and best practices in the food service industry.
    • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost analysis, and revenue forecasting.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.
