    Responsibilities APIDevelopment: Design develop and implement RESTful APIs usingC#.NET. Build APIs that are wellstructuredefficient and scalable to support current and future businessneeds. Integration: Integrate APIs withvarious internal and external systems databases and thirdpartyservices. Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperabilitybetween different components of theapplication ecosystem. Documentation: Createcomprehensive API documentation including specifications usageguidelines and examples. Maintain uptodatedocumentation to facilitate easy adoption andintegration of APIs by developers andstakeholders. Testing: Write unit tests andintegration tests to ensure the reliability performance andsecurity of APIs. Conduct thorough testingto identify and fix bugs edge cases and performancebottlenecks.Performance Optimization: Optimize API performance throughefficient coding practices cachingmechanisms and database optimizations. Monitor API performancemetrics and conduct performance tuning asneeded to enhance scalability andresponsiveness. Security: Implement securitybest practices such as authentication authorization encryptionand input validation to protect APIs againstsecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Adhere tosecurity standards and protocols to ensuredata privacy and integrity. Versioning andMaintenance: Manage API versioning and backward compatibility tosupport evolving business requirements.Perform regular maintenance updates and bug fixes to keepAPIs running smoothly andefficiently. Collaboration: Collaborateclosely with software engineers architects product managers andother stakeholders to ensure alignment withproject goals and timelines. Participate in codereviews design discussions and sprintplanningsessions
    Requiredkey skills     Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield. Proven experience (X years) in APIdevelopment using C#.NET. Strong proficiencyin C# programming language and familiarity with .NETframework. Solid understanding of RESTfulAPI design principles HTTP protocols and JSON/XML dataformats. Experiencewith API security standards and protocols (e.g. OAuth JWTSSL/TLS). Proficient in database conceptsand SQL queries. Familiarity with versioncontrol systems such as Git. Excellentproblemsolving skills and attention todetail. Strong understanding of cloudnativearchitectures microservices and serverlesscomputing. Handson experience with AWS cloudservices and infrastructure including deploymentconfiguration andmanagement. Strong communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively ina team environment.Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban)is aplus
