- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in a similar role within the automotive/manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Expertise in quality management and quality control methodologies
- Proven experience in production planning and scheduling
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement processes and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of new product development (NPD) practices
- Implement and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans and schedules
- Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency, consistency, and productivity
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and disruptions
- Identify and source materials and parts needed for production and projects
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices
- Manage the procurement process, including inventory control and supplier performance evaluation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts
