    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality/Production/Maintenance/Purchase/NPD/Design etc Engineer. As Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our manufacturing processes, managing production operations, maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as handling the procurement of materials and parts.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
    • Experience in a similar role within the automotive/manufacturing industry
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
    • Expertise in quality management and quality control methodologies
    • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling
    • Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery and equipment
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Proficiency in procurement processes and inventory management
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
    • Knowledge of new product development (NPD) practices

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Implement and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
    • Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans and schedules
    • Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency, consistency, and productivity
    • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and disruptions
    • Identify and source materials and parts needed for production and projects
    • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices
    • Manage the procurement process, including inventory control and supplier performance evaluation
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts
    • Support new product development (NPD) initiatives by providing technical expertise and assistance in design and manufacturing
