    Job Description
    As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of new Android features and improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define APIs, UX, and end-to-end functionality.

    The main responsibilities of this position include:

    • Design, develop, and deliver new Android features and improvements.
    • Owning technical architecture and enforcing best practices.
    • Ensuring performance, reliability, and code quality through reviews, profiling, and instrumentation.
    • Implementing and upholding mobile security best practices, including secure storage, encrypted communication, obfuscation, anti-tampering, and runtime protection.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define APIs, UX, and end-to-end functionality.
    • Contributing to CI/CD improvements, codebase maintainability, tech debt reduction, testing strategies, and tooling improvements for secure and efficient app delivery.
    • Driving performance optimization, code maintainability, and security audits.
    • Mentoring junior developers and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
    • Staying up to date with the latest Jetpack libraries, Compose, multi-platform, and Android platform changes.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android development principles, including Java and Kotlin programming languages, and experience with architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture). Additionally, proficiency in writing unit and UI tests, using tools like JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, is required.
