WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
We are seeking a creative and passionate Retention Specialist to join our fashion e-commerce team in the Jaipur office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fashion e-commerce, a deep knowledge of the customer lifecycle and retention strategies, as well as the ability to create and execute customer engagement and retention strategies.
Strategy Development & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive retention marketing strategies across email, SMS, push notifications, on-site personalization, and other relevant channels which aligned with overall business goals.
Identify opportunities to improve customer loyalty and engagement.
Customer Segmentation & Targeting:
Define and refine customer segments based on demographics, purchase history, behavior, and other relevant data points. Develop targeted campaigns tailored to each segment.
Develop hyper-targeted campaigns tailored to each segment, considering their specific needs and preferences. For example, segmenting based on "high-value customers," "new subscribers," "abandoned cart users," or "customers who purchased specific product categories."
Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and analyse retention campaigns, including email newsletters, promotional offers, transactional emails, automated workflows, Giveways and loyalty programs.
Marketing Automation:
Leverage marketing automation platforms (e.g. Contlo, Mo Engage, Web Engage etc.) to create personalized and automated customer journeys.
Set up automated email flows for abandoned carts, post-purchase product recommendations, birthday greetings, and re-engagement campaigns for inactive users.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor key retention metrics (e.g., customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rate, churn rate, customer retention cost) and provide regular reports on campaign performance. Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.

A/B Testing & Optimization:
Conduct A/B tests on various campaign elements (e.g., subject lines, email copy, creative assets, send times) to optimize campaign effectiveness.
Loyalty Program Management:
Manage and optimize our customer loyalty program, including enrollment, rewards, and communication.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive customer experience.
Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in retention marketing, e-commerce, and the fashion industry.
Budget Management:
Manage the retention marketing budget effectively and ensure ROI on all campaigns.
Vendor Management:
If applicable, manage relationships with any external vendors or agencies supporting retention efforts.
WHO YOU ARE?
3+ years of experience in retention marketing, preferably in the fashion or e-commerce industry
Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms, CRM tools, and customer segmentation strategies
Proven track record of successful retention and re-engagement campaigns
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
In-depth knowledge of Customer Data Platform (CDP) tools such as Web Engage, Clever Tap, MO Engage, Contlo etc.
A passion for marketing with a proven track record in delivering Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) strategies, including segmentation, incentivization, engagement, and retention.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools like Google Analytics, Power BI, and Tableau.Strong expertise in Excel for analysing retention metrics and performing revenue incrementality analysis.
