Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the software meets quality standards
• Identify, document, and track software defects and anomalies, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them
• Conduct manual and automated tests to evaluate software functionality, performance, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure test coverage
• Participate in the design and documentation of test strategies and test scenarios
• Monitor and report test progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to project stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA testing process and methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Proven experience working as a QA Test or in a similar role within the banking industry
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test execution
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and practices
• Understanding of banking domain and regulatory compliance
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Professional certification in QA testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
