- Prepares and conducts laboratory tests by reviewing work orders, specifications, and drawings, following standard operating procedures and/or engineering instructions.
- Prepares and conducts component or product measurements by reviewing work orders, specifications, and drawings, following standard operating procedures and/or engineering instructions.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by setting up and programming equipment and apparatus for experiments or measurements.
- Reports test outcomes or measurements by collecting consistent, reliable, repeatable data and analyzing and summarizing data appropriately and recording within test system data base.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Properly operates lab equipment including tensile testers, laser micrometer, gages, touch probe vision systems, rapid prototyping machine, and other mechanical testing or metrology equipment.
- Maintains continuity among work team by planning and coordinating work orders and use of test equipment with team.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology
- 1-4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to maintain, set up and run typical Mechanical Lab equipment like UTM, Plastic Testing / Dimension Measurement CMM, OGP.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize laboratory testing and data using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly proficient in English; good communication skills
