    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Counseling Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Podar Education Network. As a Counseling Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our students. This is a full-time position based in Arsikere, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in counseling psychology.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field
    • Valid certification or licensure as a Counseling Psychologist
    • Experience in providing counseling services to children and adolescents
    • Strong knowledge of psychological theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students
    • Knowledge of child development and understanding of the unique challenges faced by students
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to maintain digital records

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address their emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns
    • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' mental health and identify appropriate intervention strategies
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective intervention plans and support strategies
    • Facilitate workshops and training programs for students, parents, and staff on topics related to mental health and well-being
    • Maintain accurate and confidential counseling records and documentation
    • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in counseling psychology
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student cases and provide input on intervention strategies
    • Support students in developing coping skills, resilience, and positive self-esteem
    • Refer students to external mental health professionals and community resources as needed
    • Promote a safe and inclusive environment that fosters the emotional well-being of all students
