    About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and technically sound professional to join our Research and Development team as a Scientist – Reinforcement at our Palej Unit.     Responsibilities:

    • Innovation in Filler Technology: Develop novel grades of carbon black and other advanced fillers for diverse rubber applications, ensuring regulatory compliance and solving critical customer and process issues.
    • Rubber Compound Development: Formulate and optimize rubber compounds for tyre, non-tyre, and specialty applications, utilizing reverse engineering techniques to enhance performance.
    • Sustainability & Compliance: Integrate sustainability into product and process design, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and identifying opportunities for green innovation.
    • Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve complex issues through data analysis, lab trials, and plant-level implementation.
    • Lab Management: Oversee laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory control, ensuring best practices in lab management systems.

    Qualifications:

    • B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc. in Rubber or Polymer Science & Technology (M.Tech preferred)
    • 3–6 years of relevant experience in rubber compound or filler development

    Required Skills:

    • Strong understanding of carbon black, filler technology, and rubber testing methodologies
    • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and sustainability practices in the rubber industry
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Hands-on experience in lab and pilot-scale trials
    • Exposure to project management and design of experiments (DoE)

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in cross-functional collaboration
    • Familiarity with industry trends and advancements
