- Be accountable for and own specific modules within an application and provide technical support and guidance during solution design for new requirements, problem resolution for critical / complex issues while ensuring code is maintainable, scalable and supportable.
- Present demos of the software products to partners and internal/external customers, using technical knowledge to influence the direction and evolution of the product/solution.
- Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes (analyzes and fixes bugs) and workarounds, will review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, will highlight risks and will help mitigate risks from technical aspects.
- Bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques, and reusing existing solutions. By means of automation, reduces design complexity, reduces time to response, and simplifies the client/end-user experience.
- Represent/lead discussions related to product/application/modules/team (for example, leads technical design reviews). Establishes relationships with internal customers/partners
- Networking experience in the area of 2-7 OSI layers
- Understanding of telecom networking with hands-on experience. Also, with understanding of the core telecom domain.
- Knowledge in UE, Core , vRAN and ORAN network architecture
- Experience with the specification and design of Network and Customer Diagnostics architecture and systems
- Able to understand, prepare and execute test cases around Mobile Service Platforms, Mobile Broadband devices (modems, routers, NTE and eNodeB, gNodeBs) and related applications.
- Diagnostics of hardware, software and fault Management as well as performance monitoring
- Performing Regression Testing, ATP Testing, Multi-UE Pairing Testing on gNB.
- Troubleshooting of gNB on various alarm in live network.
- Prepare and roll out test configurations and validate the function and feature in the labs for example -Mobile Voice and Packet Core and Access RAN, testing protocols - GMM, MM, RANAP, S1-AP, SCPT, X2AP, GTP, S Series and N Series, Diameter, Radius
- Validate, and upgrade software patches
- Expertise in SDN/NFV/ ecosystem (hands-on), Cloud stack (Openstack, etc) & Fair knowledge on SDN controllers (tail-f, Open Daylight, contrail etc)
- Review health checks, fault investigation, and quality control
- Knowledge of protocols GMM, MM, RANAP, S1-AP, SCPT, X2AP, GTP, S Series & N Series, Diameter, Radius
