    Virbhu India Pvt Ltd – Vadodara (Gujarat),

    a wholly owned subsidiary of

    AK-LLC (USA),

    operating in the field of power electronics, has as an immediate opening for a

    Firmware & Control Engineer.


    The position will be involved in new product development supporting the design and launch of Virbhu India Pvt Ltd next generation of cutting-edge products.


    Responsibilities:
    Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, qualify, and test application.
    Designing and implementing data structures and software algorithms to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
    Documenting findings of engineering analyses and investigations.
    Developing Embedded Systems for medium to high Power Electronic Converters
    Selection of Microcontroller, Digital Signal Processor/Controllers, FPGAs as per need
    Complete Hardware Design & Development of the embedded boards
    Perform testing, troubleshooting, verification, and validation (at board and system level) of functional modules against requirements.
    Responsible for schematics captures, layout check, BOM creation and debugging and testing.
    Create fluent technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, pertinent to the various phases of firmware development.
    Work closely with firmware, software, and mechanical team to deliver and optimize system performance.
    Participate in product design reviews, own hardware issues to provide solutions either
    design or at production.
    Providing post-development support
    Knowledge in microcontrollers and driver development for embedded peripherals and staying up to date with firmware development methodologies.

    Qualifications
    BTech /MTech. in Electronics & Communications
    Must have experience working in Embedded HW design experience on Digital, Analog and Mixed signal circuit design.
    Expertise in Power supply design, battery management, ADCs, memories, buffers, drivers, amplifiers, Micro controller design and different hardware protocols (UART, I2C, SPI etc.)
    Hands Experience with Altium, Allegro, Mentor Graphics PADs and CAM350
    You possess a good understanding of software development life cycles.
    You have knowledge of basic electronics hardware and its interfacing with software systems. Power Electronics Circuits Design (Thyristors, MOSFET, IGBT, Solid State Switches, Op-to Isolator etc.
    You are familiar with software configuration tools and concepts.
    You have experience in firmware systems design is an added advantage.
    Experience on the Power Converters for High voltage and High current application will be an added advantage.
    Proven track record of working with test lab equipment and simulation tools
    Hands on Experience in Schematic design, PCB review, Circuit simulation.
    Design optimization techniques for performance, cost, and manufacturability
    Good understanding of EMI/EMC and their impact on hardware is mandatory.
    Develop design notes for designs and test cases for board bring-up
