About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer who can build and maintain web applications using
Laravel
on the backend and
React, Vue, or Vanilla JavaScript
on the frontend. You'll work closely with product and design to deliver clean, scalable features end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Build backend APIs and web apps using
Laravel (PHP) - Develop responsive UIs using
React, Vue, or Vanilla JS - Integrate frontend with backend APIs (REST/JSON)
- Design and manage database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL), migrations, and queries
- Write clean, reusable code with proper validation, error handling, and security practices
- Debug, optimize, and improve performance across the stack
- Maintain code quality via reviews, documentation, and basic test coverage
- Support deployments and collaborate with DevOps as needed (CI/CD a plus)
Required Skills
- Strong experience with
Laravel
(routes, controllers, middleware, Eloquent ORM, queues/jobs) - Solid frontend experience with
React or Vue
(components, state management, API integration) OR strong
Vanilla JS - Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queries
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
- Understanding of authentication/authorization (sessions, JWT, OAuth basics)
Nice to Have
- TailwindCSS/Bootstrap, UI component libraries
- Testing: PHPUnit, Pest, Jest, Cypress
- Redis, queues, caching, websockets (Laravel Echo/Pusher)
- Docker, Linux server basics, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab)
- Experience integrating third-party APIs (payments, email, SMS, etc.)
