Position Overview:

As a Video Editor for Surface Moto specializing in social media, you will play a key role in creating captivating and engaging video content tailored for platforms like Instagram and YouTube Shorts. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and content teams to produce visually stunning videos that resonate with our target audience, ultimately driving increased engagement and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality video content optimized for social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
  
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute video strategies that align with the companys goals and target audience.
  
• Utilize creative storytelling techniques to craft engaging narratives that capture viewers attention and encourage interaction.
  
• Implement best practices for social media video content, including optimal video lengths, aspect ratios, and formatting for each platform.
  
• Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in social media and video editing techniques, and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
  
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  
• Conduct regular analysis of video performance metrics and audience feedback to inform future content decisions and optimization strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency for social media platforms, particularly Instagram (reels) and YouTube (shorts), and a deep understanding of their respective audiences and content formats.
  
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  
• Strong creative vision and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling videos that drive viewer engagement.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from multiple stakeholders.
