- Knowledge on testing security products like Endpoint protection, Backup & Restore and Logging & Auditing.
- Security Testing checks whether software is vulnerable to cyber-attacks and tests the impact of malicious or unexpected inputs on its operations.
- Design test plans and test cases to validate new Servers, products and improve existing products.
- Perform product installation & configuration validation and verification of hardware in field or lab environment.
- Administer various Log/debug tools to conduct failure analysis.
- Develop tests and debugging tools to analyze the functionality of hardware systems.
- Monitor and implement test processes on hardware systems.
- Provide training to new employees to implement test procedures.
- Develop new test procedures and enhance existing ones to ensure products' reliability and usability.
- Test & resolve all hardware/software issues in coordination with development engineers.
- Prepare plans for validation methods, tools and processes for various tests.
- Prepare and submit reports on progress and status of all testing procedures.
- Analyze and resolve all hardware/software test issues reported on various server products.
- Analyze, Review, and understand software requirement for automation testability.
- Collaborate with Project teams on various frameworks used and effectively reuse the libraries at System level.
- BE / B. Tech / MCA / ME / M. Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering/ with an excellent academic track record
- Around 4 years of experience in Hardware & Software Validation Manual Testing with Automation knowledge
- Advanced level knowledge of software validation methods.
- Advanced level knowledge of Software engineering process.
- Good command over English in written and spoken communication
