Key responsibilitiesTo attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technicaland business requirementsand ensuring thatall necessary information is collated prior to producing asolution Provide technical solutions in aprofessional manner and to agreed timeframesAbility to demonstrate product and technologies effectively toaudiences of variedtechnicalknowledgeCreate and confidently deliver technical presentations internallyand externally Deliver training on solutionsand provide product support to channel partners andinternalstakeholdersCreate internal design configuration documentation includingnetwork diagrams withtechnicalexplanations Work with Product Management tofeedback on issues with current products andprovideinput around newproducts Builds productive relationshipsinternally and externally fostering teamwork bykeepingcolleagues updated onactivities Perform technical development forbespoke solutions as part of a design anddevelopmentframe workAble to understand business drivers and risks involved to thecustomer Prepare comparison documentsagainst competitors Sell technical solutionsto the customer with professionalism andenthusiasm Provide accurate and timelymanagement information to include activity reportsbidreviews project forecasts KPIs Adhere to the Company s Quality andBusiness Processes To structure and producecompelling sales proposals/commercial andtechnicaldocumentation outlining the costsavings and business benefits to clients Toassume responsibility for running a bid team whererelevant Interface with the implementation /project team articulating customer requirementtoensure smooth transition from Sale toDeliveryCandidateProfile 5 years plusexperience In depth working knowledge ofTCP/IP v4 and an understanding of TCP/IP v6.Strong interest in Internet technologies (routing switching andgeneralnetworkinfrastructure)Comfortable working with hosting technologies including Windows andLinux based serversystems network storagesystems and data centre services vmware hypervisoretc.
