    We are seeking a candidate for the jewelry production manager position in our new factory. Someone with a strong background and work experience in jewelry production, encompassing both traditional craftsmanship and modern computer-aided design skills. The candidate should possess attention to detail, precision, and a passion for creating intricate and high-quality jewelry pieces, along with the understanding of bringing creative ideas to life. Additionally, they should have brainstorming and creative R&D capabilities for optimal strength and durability in our products. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also essential for working closely with design teams and production staff while showcasing strong decision-making abilities. Moreover, the ideal candidate should demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach in addressing challenges and implementing innovative solutions within the production process.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all production operations at Bhavya Ramesh, ensuring high-quality standards, timely delivery, and flexibility to meet customer demands.
    • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required, with a strong understanding of materials management. You'll be tasked with providing guidance and instructions to artisans, showcasing high-quality samples for each design, and ensuring they replicate and maintain consistency for every order.To provide a Quality Control service to ensure the required quality levels of the product and all quality issues are raised and dealt with appropriately.
    • Manage the entire production team, providing leadership, training, and mentoring while fostering positive relations across teams. Collaborate with all departments to support future growth and ensure supply meets sales demands.
    • Implement clear roles and responsibilities for artisans, establish production timelines, and conduct regular meetings to discuss progress, issues, and feedback. Continuously identify areas for improvement and efficiency in production processes.
    • Maintain quality control, stock allocation, and order management, monitoring production orders and progress on new items or collections. Ensure effective communication channels between departments to facilitate smooth operations.
    • The production manager is responsible for conducting health and safety briefings for all artisans working on-site and providing ongoing guidance and support to ensure their well-being.
    • Additionally, maintain and update system data, create data analyses using spreadsheets, monitor job progress, provide status updates to sales, and track operations. Assess efficiencies within the production team, outsourcing specific tasks or skills wherever appropriate to save time and long-term costs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong background and 3 to 5 years of experience in jewelry production.
    • Traditional craftsmanship and modern CAD skills.
    • Proficiency in Computers and MS OFFICE is a must.
    • Attention to detail, precision, creativity, effective communication, collaboration, decision-making, and adaptability.
