    Overview

    As the Zonal Head, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the sales operations to meet revenue targets and drive business growth. You will provide strategic direction, manage key client relationships, and ensure the sales team performs at its best.

    • Developing Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
    • Set sales targets and KPIs for the team and individual sales representatives.
    • Identify new market opportunities and potential areas for growth.
    • Sales Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.

    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
    • Understand client needs and preferences to tailor sales strategies and offerings accordingly.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Sales Operations Management:
    • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
    • Monitor sales performance and track progress towards targets.
    • Implement sales tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Market Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Forecast sales projections and develop strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
    • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and finance to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Provide input into product development and marketing campaigns based on customer feedback and market insights.
    • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
    • Monitor expenses and ROI to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Business Development and Sales - Plan and oversee the execution of the zonal sales efforts, contributing to organisational revenue and growth targets.
    • Provide inputs to SM & ASM to support the development of strategic initiatives in order to achieve the business targets from the territory key accounts
    • Understand and effectively communicate value proposition to influencers and end customers.
    • Maintain awareness of market trends including customer preferences, competitive action, new product introductions, etc. in their territories
    • Business Planning and formulation of sales and business plans for the zone aligned to the overall regional sales plans.
    • Support the formulation of annual business plans for the area by providing territory related inputs
    • Cascade the sales forecast and budget for the area by weekly.
    • Report and review achievement of city wise targets and budgets on a monthly / weekly basis
    • Market expansion – Engage with new architects, interior designers, luxury builders, Turnkey contractors and strengthen their relationships.
    • Meet up with potential architects and interior designers and assess them in order to prospects, further screen these prospects and finalise deals
    • Coordinate and arrange activities for showroom visits , sample requests etc.
    • Relationship Management - Drive excellent relationship management with Architects, Interior designers, Builders, Turnkey contractors and influencers and ensure timely delivery and redressal of complaints.
    • Weekly meetings with architects in the assigned territories to identify any new opportunities
    • Conduct weekly meets with architects, interior designers and Turnkey contractors in order to motivate them to recommend & Specify BeyondColor Finishes & products
    • Coordinate the communication and presentation to the architects and Interior Designers on new product launches
    • Drive high-quality servicing of customer relationships across the territory in terms of needs recognition, timely delivery and complaint redressal
    • Efficient and effective sales operations – Monitor, guide and support the sales team in order to help them achieve their targets.
    • Escalate any issue or risk that the architects & Customers may be facing and work with the sales team to develop strategies to mitigate the same
    • Market penetration – Generate new leads and interact directly with end customers to help build secondary sales.(b2c)
    • Through influencers – architects, interior designers, identify potential customers and inform the same to the ASMs; also ensure that these leads are followed up
    • Follow up actions on all leads generated by the marketing team
    • Understand requirements of major customers and map Beyondcolor Services & products
    • Timely execution of promotional activities in the territory
    • Execution of the plans/ activities, within time and quality requirements
    • Order generation and processing – Accountable for quotation submission and order fulfilment to achieve the sales & revenue targets for the area.
    • Understand customer requirements and work on submitting both technical and commercial aspects of the quotations on time
    • Support the negotiations with customers, architects and internal finance teams in order to ensure final conversions
    • Accompany influencers or end customers in sample checks at showrooms
    • Receive PI if stock is available, else coordinate with SCM to arrange for those materials which helps in Inventory forecast.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
    • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
    • Prior experience in building business in new territories.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
