    As a Retail Store Associate at JUSTDOGS you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the well-being of pets and their owners. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers in finding the right products for their pets, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, and upholding the brand's standards of care and service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Service:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
    • Provide knowledgeable guidance on pet care products, including food, toys, grooming supplies, and accessories.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and helpful manner.
    • Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
    • Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.

    Merchandising and Inventory Management:

    • Assist with receiving shipments and restocking shelves to ensure adequate inventory levels.
    • Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items from shelves as needed.
    • Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist in identifying discrepancies.
    • Contribute to the visual merchandising efforts by arranging displays and signage to highlight featured products and promotions.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
    • Support fellow associates during peak periods or special events as needed.
    • Actively participate in training programs and staff meetings to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for pets and commitment to their well-being.
    • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of pet care products and industry trends is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
