    Description

    Key Roles & Responsibilities


    • Creating scalable models and algorithms for integrating into proprietary tools and products


    • Analyzing data, understanding features, evaluating alternate models, validating hypothesis through theoretical and empirical approaches


    • Creating statistical and predictive models for equipment monitoring, failure detection, life estimation and life extension


    • Conceptualizing and developing process control and scheduling algorithms in the domain of industrial analytics


    • Solutioning optimization algorithms and their output visualizations by packaging them as industrial business value apps


    • Working closely with customers and business units (BUs) to architect and developing customer centric solutions tailored to their requirements


    • Practicing agile development of digital solution 'Proof of Concepts' to effectively articulate the customer value proposition


    • Providing industry specific domain insights for rich proposal responses by articulating customer value proposition

    Education and Qualifications


    • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Python (preferred), R and Matlab with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow is preferred


    • B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/ Information Systems/ Data Science/ AI or Engineering).


    • Additional Certifications will be an advantage.

    Technical skill sets


    • Familiarity with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and MLflow is good to have


    • Experience in using standard optimization solvers like SciPy optimize and Matlab optimization toolbox. Agile development of customer centric prototypes or 'Proof of Concepts' for focused digital solutions


    • Experience in development of optimization routines for process industries like petrochemicals, manufacturing, utilities etc


    • Familiarity with industrial equipment like multistage pumps or compressor, turbines, turbochargers, mechanical seals etc with control systems theory – state space formulations & model predictive control


    • Exposure to component or system modeling software platforms like Modelica and Simulink


    • Beginner's experience in software applications like MS Office will be considered an added advantage
