Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Developer with over 7 years of experience in GW PolicyCenter Configuration to join our team. As a Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and development of PolicyCenter solutions, demonstrating expertise in Java EE, SDLC methodologies, and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration and development efforts for GW PolicyCenter, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various modules.
• Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), emphasizing an iterative and Agile approach to GW implementations.
• Utilize hands-on expertise in GW Implementation to configure and develop multiple aspects of PolicyCenter, including Policy Transactions, Product Modeling, Quoting, and Reinsurance Management.
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of the PolicyCenter Data-Model and its implications on configuration and development.
• Drive configuration development using GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, and other relevant tools, ensuring adherence to best practices and efficiency.
• Employ tools such as XML, GUnit, Jenkins, and version control systems like GIT/Subversion/TFS to streamline development processes.
• Collaborate with Application Servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat, and Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 for seamless deployment and operation.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between onsite and offshore teams, ensuring project objectives are met efficiently.
• Leverage your expertise in the Insurance Industry to provide domain-specific insights and solutions, contributing to the overall success of projects.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in GW PolicyCenter Configuration, with a strong background in Java EE and SDLC methodologies.
• Proven track record in configuring and developing various aspects of PolicyCenter, including Policy Transactions, Product Modeling, and Workflow management.
• Proficiency in GOSU, Rules Engine, and other relevant GW configuration tools.
• Hands-on experience with XML, Jenkins, and version control systems like GIT/Subversion/TFS.
• Familiarity with Application Servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat) and Database Servers (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between onsite and offshore teams.
• Deep understanding of the Insurance Industry and its specific domain knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
