Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting performance tests on web-based applications using both UI and API testing methodologies. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of our applications under various load conditions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios for web-based applications, covering both UI and API layers.
2. Analyze application performance metrics and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
3. Collaborate with development teams to implement performance enhancements and troubleshoot performance issues.
4. Configure and maintain performance testing environments, including hardware, software, and network setups.
5. Generate comprehensive test reports highlighting performance test results, findings, and recommendations.
6. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing methodologies and tools.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance requirements are understood and met throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing of web-based applications.
3. Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter.
4. Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
5. Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and optimizing web applications.
