    Job Summary:
    Developing next-generation I/O interfaces for Altair Post Processing tools using current trends and the latest technologies.

    What You Will Do:

    Would be part of the team, that develops, manages, and maintains, post I/O interfaces at Altair, which is integrated with most of the Altair products in the simulation domain.

    The developer would take part in developing next-generation libraries for I/O post-processing. This would also involve maintenance of our current interfaces of various solvers -Abaqus/Ansys/Nastran/Optistruct/Dyna/Radioss and many others.

    Our applications' current frameworks that connect our CAE tools to CAE Mathematical Solvers are being upgraded to be in tune with newer generation products.

    This involves advanced C++ development skills, that include asynchronous operations, multi-Threading, and efficient programming constructs.

    Additionally, the personnel would be part of projects related to developing newer frameworks and infrastructures in post-processing areas and the possibility of re-using them across products.


    What You Will Need:

    Basics:
    Excellent C++ knowledge.
    Good command over data structures algorithms.
    Good exposure to working with multi-threaded applications.


    Preferred:
    Master's in engineering – Structural/CAD-CAE/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/7+ years of C/C++ ExperienceSound Fundamentals in STL/BOOST/C /Multi-ThreadingExposure to Linux development.
    Excellent debugging skills.
