    Social Media Planner (Manager)

    Job Title: Social Media Planner brief:

    We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Planner (Manager) to plan, develop and implement social media strategy. You will work closely with other internal departments, including various business units, to deliver seamless, integrated brand experiences which has a tone and style consistent with our brand voice.

    To be successful as a social media planner, you should have a deep knowledge of social media marketing and be able to translate a business objective into a digital strategy. You should also monitor trends in the digital landscape and identify new : Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences.

    Planning & Strategizing:

    Plan, develop and deliver comprehensive and integrated social media strategies aligned to respective business objectives and having a thorough planning of the content calendar with immense clarity.

    This involves writing briefs clearly highlighting the problem statement, setting goals, identifying target audiences.

    Seeing through the execution plan and executing it when required and analyzing the outcome of each campaign. End to end ownership of driving KPI's from the channel

    Content Creation:

    Developing engaging and relevant content, including posts, articles, images, videos in multimedia engaging formats.

    Proofreading and overseeing content creation and collaborating with content creators, designers, and copywriters. Thinking out of the box and produce unique ideas to engage with the targeted Social content like posts, videos, comments, multimedia, etc., should have a consistent tone and style that resonates with the brand voice/identity.

    Posting at a regular schedule so the audiences know when to anticipate latest information from us

    Event & Webinars:

    Planning, creating, and executing the integrated social media strategy for the flagship events and webinars in a year

    Community Management:

    Engaging with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries. Building relationships with followers, managing online communities, and fostering engagement.

    Analytics and Insights:

    Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to assess the performance, reporting them with recommendations.

    Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly.

    Campaign Management:

    Creating, executing, and managing paid social media campaigns for the events. This also includes budget management, spend optimization, audience targeting, and achieving specific business objectives.

    Brand Monitoring:

    Monitoring social media channels for mentions of the brand, addressing customer feedback, and managing the brand's online reputation (complete ORM and social listening)

    Stay Updated:

    Keeping up with industry trends, algorithm changes on various platforms, and emerging social media technologies to ensure strategies remain relevant and effective.

    Visual Creativity:

    Ability to conceptualize and design visually appealing graphics, images, and videos that resonate with the audience.

    SEO Knowledge:

    Understanding of basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles to optimize social media content for better visibility and reach.

    Communication Skills:

    Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling and clear messages tailored to different platforms and audiences. Preparing and delivering presentations with confidence and clarity

    Project Management:

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Aptitude for collaborating with different teams like marketing, sales, etc., for cohesive brand messaging and campaign/plan execution

    Analytical Thinking:

    Critical thinking and analytical skills to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions for better and skills:

    Thorough understanding of various social media tools, analytics platforms, and staying updated with emerging trends in digital marketing. Early adopter of AI based tools to improve efficiency.

    Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

    Proficiency in developing engaging content across various formats like text, images, videos, and infographics tailored to different social platforms.

    Innovative thinking to develop unique campaigns, storytelling techniques, and branding ideas that resonate with the audience.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey brand messages effectively and maintain a consistent tone across platforms and confidently able to communicate with all stakeholders.

    Ability to navigate rapidly changing social media landscapes and adapt to platform algorithm changes and trends.

    Capability to address queries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand image.

    Aptitude in handling crisis situations, resolving conflicts, and managing negative feedback with tact and diplomacy.

    Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

    Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, News Media, or Public Relations. MBA preferred

    Industry: B2B and/or Advertising agency (preferred)
