Job DescriptionWehave an exciting opportunity for Asst. Manager PricingOcean Exportsto manage thepricing/quotation processserving as a single point of contact for all our pricingrequirement.

KeyResponsibilities:
Build and maintaincompetitive internal tariffs for all major carriers to allimportanttrade lanes.
Evaluate opportunities to sign long term rate contracts oragreements withmajorcarriers.

Responsible for enabling to win new business through competitivepricingopportunities & creatingincreased success on existing business throughcarriermanagement & procurementmanagement; Establish & maintain astrong working relationship with carriers to ensurebestpossible pricing capacity &equipment in alignment with our keycarriers.

Identify opportunities to optimisesales and profitability through pricingstrategies Review & act on existingcontractual terms or general forwarding businessforopportunities to improve net marginsthrough improvedprocurement;

JobRequirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Commerce Logistics orrelated fieldplus 10 years of experiencewith a reputed Freight Forwarder in the job offered outofwhich at least 5 years of experience inOcean Exports Pricing.

Should be below 35 yearsofage.
Should havehandled pricing for a minimum volume of 200 containers permonth.


Skills /Requirements:
Ability to make effectivedecisions under pressure. Should havehandled pricing for Freehand business of minimum 200 containerspermonth. Should havegreat connections and relationships withcarriers. Should know about ServiceContracts for US business. Should have the capabilitytonegotiate contracts and agreements withcarriers for Non US business on a longtermbasis. Ability togather and interpret relevant data andinformation Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills Ability to thinkanalytically and should be a problemsolver.
