Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Associate for a financial services company, to work on writing macroeconomic reports for company publications. This requires analyzing historical and forecast data, researching, and producing reports that include an analysis of both recent performance and outlook.

The person will have to display independent thinking as well as ability to execute. Good understanding of macro-economic data, ability to correlate with financial markets with excellent writing skills will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write macroeconomic reports within short turnaround time.
• Analyse economic data (both history and forecasts) to identify relevant trends.
• Conduct secondary research as and when required.

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

• Masters in Economics only.
• 0-1 years of post-qualification work experience dealing primarily with capital markets/macroeconomic report writing
• Comfortable with economics/industry databases
• Proficiency in using Excel or some data management software.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to independently assess and drive decisions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels across the organization, including management.
• A strong work ethic and absolute attention to detail
