Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, secure, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN, Microsoft Active Directory, enterprise firewalls, NetApp storage, and Linux environments.
The candidate should have strong architectural knowledge, troubleshooting expertise, and experience handling large-scale production environments.
Key Responsibilities 1. Network Architecture (LAN/WAN)
Design and implement enterprise LAN/WAN architecture.
Manage core switching, routing, VLAN segmentation, and redundancy.
Configure VPN, SDWAN.
IP management and multi-link failover configuration.
Network performance monitoring and capacity planning.
Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery strategies.
2. Microsoft AD & Windows Infrastructure
Design and manage multi-site Active Directory environments.
Implement advanced Group Policies and security hardening.
Manage DNS, DHCP, DFS, and domain controllers.
Azure AD / Hybrid integration (preferred).
Implement identity and access management best practices.
Windows Server lifecycle management and patch management.
3. Firewall & Enterprise Security
Design and manage enterprise firewall infrastructure such as:
o Palo Alto Networks
o Sophos
o Cisco
Configure advanced security policies, IPS/IDS, SSL inspection.
Site-to-site VPN & remote VPN architecture.
Conduct security audits and vulnerability mitigation.
Incident response and log analysis.
Endpoint security and EDR implementation.
4. Storage Administration (NetApp)
Architect and manage enterprise storage using NetApp.
Manage aggregates, volumes, LUNs, Snapshots, SnapMirror.
Storage performance tuning and capacity planning.
Configure NFS, CIFS/SMB, and iSCSI.
Backup strategy and disaster recovery implementation.
Integration with virtualization environments.
5. Linux Infrastructure Management
Administration of Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
Performance tuning and system hardening.
Service management (Apache, Nginx, MySQL, etc.).
Shell scripting and automation.
Log analysis and troubleshooting.
Server security and patch management.
6. Leadership & Governance
Lead infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Mentor junior engineers.
Vendor coordination and SLA management.
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and policies.
Budgeting and infrastructure planning support.
Required Technical Skills
Strong expertise in TCP/IP, Routing & Switching.
Advanced firewall and VPN configuration.
Active Directory architecture & troubleshooting.
Enterprise storage (NetApp).
Linux system administration.
Backup & Disaster Recovery planning.
Monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds – preferred).
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V – preferred).

Soft Skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Leadership and team management ability.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
