    Chief Information Officer (CIO)

    Job Description:

    • We are seeking an experienced CIO to join our dynamic Digital/ IT team.
    As the CIO, you will be responsible for overseeing the following workstreams:


    • Participate with HODs and influential business stake holders for Digital/ IT reviews on a regular basis and active involvement in businesscritical reviews.
    • Engage with the business to identify problem areas and suggest solutions along with detailing the scope and timelines for the same.
    • Define Digital/ IT Strategy to support business needs, includingOptimal Business Applications, Optimal use of Infrastructure and Security.
    • Compliance requirements related to Software & Hardware Licenses and others relevant in our sector
    • Control: Manage and createDigital/ IT Budgets
    • Capex &Opex while aligning of business objective with IT plan for optimal performance of IT Infrastructure and applications.
    • ERP: Manage the entire ERP implementation lifecycle along with our ERP lead.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    (preferred)


    • MBA/ PGDM/ Leadership Program from top tier collage
    • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
    • Computer Science and Engineering or InformationTechnology
    • 15+ years of posteducationexperience and have previously led the role of CIO/CTO/ Head of Technology
    • Certifications: (good to have)
    • Relevant certifications in Digital/ IT/ Business Leadershippreferred

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Information Technology Strategy/ Roadmap and Architecture
    • To ensure and prepare Digital/ IT roadmap supports long term and shortterm plans of the business
    • To prepare detailed Digital/ IT plan for Infrastructure, Business applications, Security, business process automation (including in house development) and other solutions
    • To prepare annual Digital/ IT budget (including CAPEX) with respect to Digital/ IT plans for the year
    • Build a Digital/ IT architecture that is fit for purpose for the organization, and aligns with business objectives
    • Integrate various Digital/ IT components to minimize manual activities and derive benefits of automation
    • Digital/ IT Project Management Office
    • To assess and anticipate Digital/ IT Projects for data/information requirements by consulting with all HODs
    • To prepare a cost benefit analysis of Digital/ IT projects
    • To analyse if the new requirement could be fulfilled in house or through external vendor
    • To ensure vendors are developed for various Digital/ IT requirements and participate in contract negotiations for hardware, software purchase and development

    • Build and operate an effective IT team that can deliver business requirements and plan for future growth
    • Report on Digital/ IT matters to senior management, Board members, other internal/ external stakeholders, as applicable
    • Build culture of Digital/ IT first and automation within the organization by evangelizing the benefits of Emerging Digital technologies
    • Represent the business in Digital and Technology leadership forums to improve brand profile based on leveraging Digital technologies
    Digital/ IT Efficiencyand Effectiveness

    • To evaluate current and future hardware and software requirements for the organization and ensure that they meet organization needs
    • To ensure network infrastructure of the organization is designed and maintained for local and wide area connectivity and remote access
    • To ensure appropriate support is provided to all end user for daytoday IT issues. To provide on time resolution as per defined SLA (Service Level Agreement)
    • To ensure appropriate business continuity plans are developed for data backup and infrastructure support in case of any crisis
    • To ensure optimal uptime for all relevant solutions across applications, infrastructure etc.
    • To ensure appropriate SOPs and policies are developed, reviewed and updated regularly
    Compliance

    • To ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements and good practices
    • To ensure all licenses related to hardware and software are acquired regularly
    ERP systems

    • Exposure in deriving maximum effectiveness from ERP solution
    • Responsible for ERP life cycle management
    • Coordinate with various functional units and leaders on ERP requirements and objectives
