The objective of this project is to design and analyse a solar thermal energy system with a storagesystem to meet a specific demand (according to your application given in the second page).
This includes:
Capacity of the system:
liters of heat transfer fluid per second, per hour or per day, from a
specified low temperature to a specified high temperature;
Report requirements:
State and justify all your assumptions and make reference to credible sources
when applicable. Perform a thermal analysis of the proposed system and show your calculations.
Provide visual illustrations. Interpret and discuss your results. Comment on the value and limitations
of your analysis. Critique your proposed design. The report should minimally contain the following
sections:
Introduction, Theory, Assumptions, Calculations, Discussion and Conclusion. The report
should be of 20-30 pages maximum.
