    Job Description:

    As an Assistant Prepress Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the efficient and smooth operation of the prepress department . You will assist the Prepress Manager in overseeing all prepress activities and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of files for printing and packaging. Your duties and responsibilities include:

    1. Workflow Management: Assist in managing the overall prepress workflow, ensuring that projects move seamlessly from design to print production.

    2. File Preparation: Review and process customer-provided files, ensuring they meet the required specifications for printing and packaging. Prepare files for preflight and perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and print readiness.

    3. Design Support: Collaborate with the graphic design team to assist in creating and modifying graphic designs, artwork, and layouts using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

    4. Color Management: Support color management processes to ensure consistent color reproduction across different printing processes and substrates. Assist in calibrating and maintaining color proofing systems and devices.

    5. Proofing and Approval: Prepare digital and physical proofs for customer approval, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and customer requirements. Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and sign-offs.

    6. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to the production team during the printing and packaging processes. Address prepress-related issues and troubleshoot problems to maintain production efficiency.

    7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in the prepress workflow. Collaborate with the Prepress Manager to implement best practices, optimize productivity, and minimize errors.

    8. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including graphic designers, clients, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication, task coordination, and timely project completion.

    9. Training and Development: Assist in providing training and guidance to junior prepress staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

    10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to prepress activities. Generate reports on workflow status, productivity, and performance metrics as required.
