Requirements

As an ESG Regulatory Expert at ESG Book, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ESG regulatory strategy by staying abreast of the ever-evolving regulatory environment and designing reporting tools and products that will be integrated into ESG Book's SaaS data management and disclosure platform. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, interpret, and implement ESG-related regulations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. You will be part of the product innovation function within ESG Book and will be required to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology and business development.

Your Role & Accountabilities

We are looking to hire a new ESG Index Specialist to lead our applied quantitative R&D and index advisory business. We are looking for individuals with experience and/or expertise in integrating ESG and climate data into investment solutions (public equity and/or fixed income) to join our team and contribute to ESG Book's global growth. You will be responsible and accountable for contributing to growing ESG Book's research models, and investment solutions with a sustainability focus.

You Are Expected To

• learn how global markets and investors are integrating ESG into investment strategies
• become an expert in ESG integration of data into investment strategies
• contribute to applying knowledge and expertise to new strategy development
• advise market leading index providers on ESG and regulatory index aligned construction
• participate in industry conferences and act as an ESG Book ambassador
• liaise with product development to incorporate client feedback and market demand
• liaise with Global Head of Sustainable Investing & ESG Research on feedback and design
• contribute to thought leadership on portfolio-level integration of ESG and climate data
• contribute to marketing material designed to share insights and build product demand
• engage with existing clients on occasion to test ideas and new model designs
  
  

We Are Keen To Hire Professionals Who

• have 5+ years' experience in asset management research, asset owner or investment consultant research, think tank focused on sustainability, or academic research institutes
• are familiar with ESG and climate data, investment model design, and investment product creation
• understand the reasoning behind integrating sustainability information in the capital allocation process for institutional investors
• possess an excellent command of the English language—speaking and writing—and has a desire to share knowledge and expertise through white papers and articles
• are adept with coding in Python
• have a CFA
