    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Research Center's Lab Unit in surfactants for product design and development across pertinent business segments.
  • Executing projects by designing technical frameworks, meeting objectives, and facilitating the scale-up process.
  • Leading innovation by identifying novel opportunities in the surfactants field, proposing innovative ideas, and conducting feasibility studies in collaboration with business segments.
  • Contributing to surfactants sustainability efforts by implementing new and enhanced processes to reduce carbon footprint.
  • Providing training and development in lab safety and good laboratory practices to colleagues.

    • Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, preferably with a focus on synthesis, particularly in surfactants and/or oleochemicals.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industrial experience is necessary.
  • International experience, such as a post-doctoral position, is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in synthesizing specialty (oleo) chemicals and/or surfactant molecules, with a clear understanding of their intended applications.
  • Basic understanding of process development and subsequent scaling up.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas and develop inventive solutions
