The Role:

As a Lead- Experience Engineer you are responsible for creating front-end experiences and user interfaces that align to present trends. This includes working on media such as websites, applications, and native and hybrid apps across platforms. You will be responsible for achieving a world-class experience in our internal-facing applications and platforms. As a Lead UX engineer, you are expected to conduct research, define problem statements, deliver design solutions, and follow up with testing. Convert provided wireframes/mock-ups into pixel-perfect UI using HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/Angular.

Technical Experience Required

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. Angular, HTML5/ CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery)

• Experience of responsive design, framework like Bootstrap mandatory

• Experience with or interest in TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with UI libraries Angular Material or Bootstrap.

• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

• Proficient understanding of responsive UI design and implementation across mobile, tablet and desktop.

• Knowledge of NodeJS and integrations into CMS systems is good

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the lifecycle to evolve the concept for a user experience project, putting together functional prototypes, and testing the prototype or end-product.

• Create a best-in-class user experience with an elaborate planning and execution strategy.

• Define visual language for consistent and brilliant user focus.

• Participate in user research and testing, gather insights that inform the experience

• Create frameworks and style guides for UI

Professional Experience Required –

• Good communication skills

• Excellent critical thinking & and analytical skills with an ability for problem-finding and analysis

• Demonstrated ability to apply design thinking

• Ability to collaborate and influence (with and without formal authority) business stakeholders, designers, and development teams.

• Focus on collaboration to achieve outcomes

• Ability to plan and manage projects with or without guidance and thrive in ambiguity.

• A design school degree is an added advantage, over / a Bachelor's Degree

• Work Experience: 2 to 5 years
